NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

For starters, a private inspector like Bullseye has the time and singular attention provide to you and your project. City inspectors are often over-worked, and builders are always on a tight schedule and are eager to move on to the next job—that’s just the nature of the business. Unfortunately, this means that construction errors and faulty home components can go unnoticed for years. When that happens, you run the risk of having to pay thousands out of pocket down the road on repairs. Don’t take any chances. Instead, schedule our comprehensive 3-phase inspection services, which includes:

  1. A pre-pour inspection, which occurs prior to the construction team laying the foundation. During pre-pour inspection, Bullseye will inspect the project plans and blueprints to ensure that everything is done precisely to specification. The pre-pour phase includes reviewing:

  2. A pre-drywall inspection, which happens before the builder hangs drywall over the interior walls of the home. This is the last opportunity for a construction and building inspector to fully assess elements and systems that will ultimately be hidden behind walls.  During the pre-drywall inspection, we’ll assess the integrity of major structural elements, floors, and walls, as well as plumbing, electrical, and rough-in components.

  3. A final inspection occurs a few days prior to the builder completing their final walkthrough. The final inspection includes all the systems in the home and is regulated by TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission). Working with Bullseye Home Inspection throughout the construction process will give you peace of mind and confidence in your new home.

When you work with our team, you’ll have the opportunity to ask in-depth questions about your build and we’ll also provide you with documentation around your inspection, including a narrative summary of any problems or issues. If you need a new construction inspector, don’t take any chances with an untried provider. Instead, schedule with the experts at Bullseye Home Inspection.
